Kitchen Fire and Soot Cleanup

Having to cleanup after a fire is no picnic. This home had smoke and soot damage from having burned something on the stove. The smoke odor permeates the walls and is even worse the hotter the fire had gotten. The material that is burned also has to be taken into consideration. Plastics, for example, leave a thicker and more acidic soot behind. Organic materials, such as the cabinets, burn cleaner and finer but the soot travels broader within a house.

We cleaned this home from top to bottom removing soot and odor. We only had to remove damaged property but everything else was cleaned and returned to the home.
